Union Minister for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal is all praise for AP Government and the people of Southern State. He applauded the efforts of State Government in effectively managing the power resources and successfully providing power supply 24*7.
During the inauguration of the Smart Electric Meter scheme, Piyush Goyal opined Andhra People were honest and lauded them for paying electricity bills on time.
Smart Electric Meter scheme is being introduced under Centre's new initiative Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyotii Yojana. All the Domestic and Agricultural Meters in the state will be replaced to reduce power consumption and prevent tampering of meters.
NDA Government has been taking necessary measures to curb all kinds of corruption. Smart Electric Meter scheme is one such welcome change.
