A chartered plane with Brazilian first division soccer team on board crashed near Medellin in Colombia.

Colombian Officials confirmed that the ill-fated plane was carrying 72 passengers and 9 crew members. About 76 people died in the crash. Miraculously, Five people survived.

The British Aerospace 146 Model Plane took off from Santa Cruz in Bolivia for transporting the Chapecoense soccer team to Hose Maria Cordava airport in Medellin for the finals of a regional tournament. The Team was supposed to play one of the two Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional of Medellin on Wednesday. Pilots raised alarm at 10 PM on Monday following the electrical failure and it crash within short period.

Deceased include Football Players, Officials, Journalists and some of the Guests. Brazil and South America's soccer federation suspended all the soccer activities until further notice.
