Plasma Therapy In India Gets Success

On 4th of this month, a 49-year-old male patient from Delhi had tested positive for the virus. After a few days, he faced respiratory problems and the doctors supplied him with oxygen externally. As the situation deteriorated daily, the ventilator was installed on the 8th of this month.
With permission from his family, the authorities had proceeded for the plasma therapy. On 14th of this month, the samples collected from the recovered patients is injected to the patient and found that it works as the patient recovers slowly. And today, he recovered fully and discharged from the hospital.
According to reports, a single donor can donate 400ml of plasma which can save two lives, as 200ml is sufficient to treat one patient.
