Plot To Kill MIM Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi Busted

The Bangalore police have reportedly busted a plot to assassinate MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in Hindupur from where Cine Hero nandamuri Balakrishna got elected.
According to information reaching here, a joint team of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh police intercepted the gangsters and seized weapons. The gang had reportedly taken 'supari' or a contract to assassinate Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) leader Akbaruddin Owaisi.
The police arrested the gangsters and shifted them to Bangalore. Sources further say that the Giri, a notorious criminal, had taken 'supari' (contract) from a Hyderabad-based realtor to assassinate Akbar Owaisi. The realtor is reportedly having a land dispute with the MIM leader. However, the police is also looking the case in different aspects.
The police have reportedly recovered two revolvers and two bullets from the accused. The police has also recovered Rs 2.5 cash lakh from them.
The young leader had escaped an assassination attempt in Hyderabad in 2011. He had sustained bullet and stab injuries in an attack by his rivals. Akbaruddin Owaisi was re-elected to the State Legislative Assembly for the fourth consecutive term and has been elected as party's Legislature Party leader on Friday.
