Plum lands for Kamma and Velama Sanghams in posh locality
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 July 2021 4:34 AM GMTChief Minister KCR takes aeons to make a decision. But, sometimes, he rivals supersonic in making decisions. In a swift decision, KCR has allocated a huge chunk of land for two caste bodies. Five acres each have been allocated in the prime locality near the Ayyappa Society for Kamma Sangham and Velama Sangham. The land allocated is worth Rs 100 crore.
This sudden and swift decision to allocate huge swathe of land in plum locality has become the topic of hot discussion in political circles. The Government recommended the land allocation and got it approved by CCLA. Within no time, the land was allocated to the beneficiaries. Interestingly, KCR had promised caste-based Bhavans for different communities in Telangana. Though land was allocated to several caste-based associations, they soon got embroiled in dispute and court cases. As a result, none of the buildings was completed. While less pricey lands were allocated to these associations, the Kamma Sangham and Velama Sangham got plum lands.
The land allocated is quite costly and is close to the Hitech city area. The Hightech, Ayyappa Society and Jubilee Hills have now become a continuum. Will there be court cases and land disputes here too? What if someone goes to the court and files a case against the hasty process of allocation?
