The death of a plumber in the Shamshabad airport under mysterious circumstances is the talk of the town. The plumber, identified as 42-year-old Narasimha Reddy, was found near an overhead duct in the International airport. He has climbed up the false roofing using a ladder to clear a blockage in the drain pipes.

Sources said that three to four workers had climbed up the overhead duct to clear the blockage. Sources say he has poured acid to clear the blockage in the drain pipe. He may have inhaled the fumes of the acid and may have fallen unconscious. He was immediately rushed to the Apollo centre on the premises of the airport. But, he soon succumbed. Two of his colleagues, who tried to help him, too fell unconscious. But, they have managed to recover. The cause of the death is as yet unformed, say the officials. The GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited has issued a statement, which said: 'A worker of Faber Sindoori Facilities Management Services was found dead today. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. We are offering all our support to the family of the deceased.'

A case has been registered under Section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code against the Faber Sindoor Facility Management Services. Investigation is on. The body has been sent to the Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
