When Modi took charge as Gujarat CM, the state was going through tough times due to the Bhuj earthquake. He handled the situation and gained the trust of the public in the state.
The development he brought in Gujarat gave the required boost-up for the BJP to overthrow the Congress at the Centre. In the 2014 elections, the BJP banked high on the Gujarat model.
Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, BJP registered a massive win in the 2014 general elections and got a majority in the lower house, the highest for any single party since 1984.
In the 2019 general elections, BJP led by Modi registered a massive win and took oath as Pm for the second consecutive term.
The schemes introduced by Modi like Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Jan Suraksha Yojana, Ujwala Yojna, Ujala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, BHIM-UPI Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and PM-Kisan have lent a helping hand to the poor class, women, and farmers.
