PM Modi Condoles Migrants Death In UP Road Accident

During the early hours today morning, two trucks collided in Auraiya district, UP, killing 24 migrant workers and injuring at least 38.
As per the reports, both the trucks are carrying migrant labourers, one of the truck was coming from Rajasthan, the other was from Delhi. This is one of the heart-wrenching incidents happened even before we forget the tragic freight train accident.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted amid the outpouring of condolences over the incident.
"The road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya is extremely tragic. The government is involved in relief work. I express my condolences to the families of those killed in this accident, and wish the injured a speedy recovery," PM Modi tweeted.
A compensation of Rs 2 lakh has been announced by the government for the families of those who died and Rs 50,000 for those injured.
