PM Modi Asks Why He Faced Call Drops!

Just alike the crores of people in India, Narendra Modi is miffed with the fact that Telecom Operators aren't able to curb the call drops. The Prime Minister himself faced call drops while travelling from the Airport to his Official Residence in New Delhi.
PM raised Call Drops issue during the meeting with Government Secretaries under the PRAGATI initiative. He pointed out that call drops have become like a nationwide menace and people could be seen trying repeatedly to make calls after landing at Delhi Airport.
Modi even enquired with Telecom Secretary Aruna Sundarajan how much penalty was levied on the Telecom Service Providers for call drops. Aruna Sundarajan informed PM about TRAI norm to charge Rs 1 as penalty for every 3 call drops but it wasn't implemented as Mobile Operators are against it.
PM insisted Telecom Service Providers should be able to provide high level of consumer satisfaction. He wants the issues to be resolved based on the latest technological solutions.
