PM Modi unveils Statue of Equality, dedicates to nation!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Hyderabad to take part in two events, reached the 'Statue of Equality' just a while ago and unveiled the massive statue. Following the procedure, the Prime Minister paid a visit to the 108 Divya Desams and offered prayers at the Yagyashala.
Donning traditional attire, Narendra Modi took part in the prayers and then unveiled the statue. After unveiling the statue, the Prime Minister had dedicated the statue to the nation. Narendra Modi has showered praises on Ramanujacharya on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the great sage.
Narendra Modi had expressed his happiness on unveiling the Statue of Equality on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami. Addressing the event, the Prime Minister said the Statue of Equality will inspire the next generations.
He even spoke highly about Telugu culture and highlighted how great the culture is. Narendra Modi gave a special mention to the Kakatiya dynasty and Pochampally saree. He also lauded the Tollywood industry which is doing wonders on the Silver Screen.
The statue unveiled by Narendra Modi is built after 11th-century Saint Sri Ramanujacharya. He is well known for his ideology of promoting equality across the communities. Ramanujacharya had granted entry of untouchables to the temples.
