Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being ranked as 9th Most Powerful Individual in the World by Forbes for the year 2016.
Russian President Vladimir Putin topped the list of World's Most Powerful People for fours years in a row. US President-elect Donald Trump managed to occupy the second position. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pope Francis have been ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.
Forbes Most Powerful People list consists of 74 prominent personalities from across the World. These small number of powerful people influence 7.4 billion humans on the Earth.
While Microsoft founder Bill Gates has been ranked 7th, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Apple CEO Tim Cook are at 10th and 32nd positions respectively. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani is at 38th position in Forbes list. Microsoft CEO Satya Nedella manages to be at 51st spot. ISIS supremo Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi occupies 57th position.
