Telangana Minister Locked In Room By Students

The minister has participated in a Program in Agriculture University in Rajendra Nagar.During the visit he was obstructed by veterinary medicine students at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University.
The students were protesting against the state government's GO 45 released recently to recruit veterinary doctors through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). The agitating students demanded to withdraw the GO on immediate effect and demanded that the recruitment be made through an exclusive departmental exam . When the matter brings to ministers notice he reportedly expressed helplessness as the GO was issued after a decision in the cabinet.
As the situation turned critical Police intervened and that resulted in severe counter arguments. Some of the students lost the cool and locked the minister in a room. He was still stuck in a room and the police were trying to get him out of the campus.The students were on a strike for the last four days demanding the withdrawal of the GO.
