Citing anti-social elements might take advantage and not giving permissions to rallies and padayatra. This news did not go well with the opposition leaders as they are with the opinion that the police are just following the orders of government and not giving permission intentionally.
Police did not let former MLA Chintamaneni meet the TDP party, Chandrababu Naidu and he was house arrested by the cops.
As a counter to this, Chintamaneni has staged a protest before his house against the government's move to have three capitals. With the news of protesting the TDP leaders are hitting the headlines very often.
