All eyes on Actor & Comedian's Illegal Construction

Stand-up Comedian Kapil Sharma invited trouble by taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Acche Din by complaining Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Officer demanded Rs 5 lakh bribe from him for his Office works.
Within days, BMC lodged a police complaint alleging Kapil Sharma and Actor Irrfan Khan were involved in illegal construction activities. While Kapil Sharma lives in the 9th floor flat, Irrfan Khan has been staying at the 5th floor of DHL Enclave in Oshiwara area, New Link Road. The complaint was filed by BMC Sub-Engineer and a case was booked under Sections of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act.
On Friday, Kapil Sharma tweeted he is paying Rs 15 crore Income Tax for the past 5 years and still he was asked to pay Rs 5 lakh bribe. Soon, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis assured stringent action against the official who demanded bribe. Few days later, The illegal construction angle came to light. Is this an attempt by BMC & BJP to counter the corruption allegations?
