By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Jun 2016 12:45 PM GMTAndhra Pradesh police have successfully foiled the indefinite hunger- strike of Kapu patriarch Mudragada Padmanabham just while ago. Mudragada was arrested by cops and he was shifted to a hospital in an ambulance. Today morning Mudragada Padmanabham launched the fast demanding AP govt to lift off cases against innocents in the Tuni train violence incident. He sat on his deeksha at his residence in Kirlampudi along with his wife Padmavathi.
CM Chandrababu also requested the leader to give up his fast for state benefits but the Kapu leader didn't paid heed to CM request. He even threatened to consume pesticides. As his condition deteriorated, police entered into the hunger strike camp forcibly and foiled his fast. The police first requested him to give up the 'deeksha' but the leader rejected their plea. Some of his followers tried to obstruct police which forced them to do Lathi charge. Mudraagda who is key accused in Tuni violence case is likely to be presented before a magistrate.
