By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Aug 2017 7:48 AM GMTNellore District Cricket Betting Racket has created a sensation. Police Department has took up this case very seriously and not even sparing Public Representatives. On Tuesday, YSR Congress MLAs Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav have been questioned in the presence of ASP Sarath Babu.
YSR Congress Party responded seriously on the interrogation of it's Legislators in the betting case. MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy alleged it's a conspiracy to damage the reputation of YCP which is strong in Nellore district. 'Does Cops have the courage to question ruling party MLAs in betting case? District Police Department need to apologise for damaging our party MLAs reputation,' he demanded.
MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy: 'Even after SP confirmed there is no role of MLAs in the betting racket, Notices were issued and we have been questioned. Seems like, There is a big conspiracy behind it!'.
MLA Anil Kumar Yadav: 'I have no role what-so-ever in the betting racket. I swear on my Mother. Though it's my marriage day, I have attended the questioning. We have nothing to worry as long as people, party leaders and workers trust us'.
