Police register cases on Kapu leaders

A total of 27 Kapu leaders were booked by Tuni police today. Police have registered cases against the leaders who attended the 'Kapu Mahagarjana' on Sunday. Names of noted Kapu leaders like Botsa, Kanna Lakshminarayna, Jyotula Nehru also included in the FIR list. Mudragada Padmanabham, who led the agitation has been made A 1 in the case.
The names of the leaders who were included in the FIR are: Ambati Rambabu, V. Hanumantha Rao, Parupula Subbarao, Dadishetti Raja, GV Sudhakar, Adapa Nagendar, Nalla Vishnu, K.Tataji, Bandaru Srinivasa Rao, Mutyala Virabhadra Rao, MM pallam Raju, Botsa Satyanarayana, Kanna Laxminarayana, Vatti Vasantha Kumar, Jyothula Nehru, MSR Naidu, Dhulipudi Chakram, Yella Dorababu, Aleti Prakash, Akula Ramakrishna, Vasireddy Yesudas, KVCH Mohan Rao, Jamithene Lankala, Jakkampudi Vijaya Laxmi and Ganga Bhavani.
The Kapu aikya garjana was conducted on last Sunday demanding the government to ass the Kapu's in BC list. The protests turned violent with the call given by Kapu leaders and it rendered about 103 crores of loss.
