The 'Heir' Problems For Political Leaders In Telangana!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Feb 2018 5:04 AM GMTEverywhere we witness people talking about the heirs of celebrities and political leaders all the time. They are interested in knowing who will carry forward the hard work of their favourite politicians who managed to stay in power over decades.
In Telangana state, many thought with local Government dividing the state into further more districts, new assembly constituencies will be granted by Indian Government, along with parliament constituencies as the population has also increased.
But Central Government is more interested in keeping the status quo and this has been making plans of few political leaders go haywire.
DK Aruna, ex-minister, is trying to consolidate her hold in Gadwal, Palamoor and Mahbubnagar, by introducing her daughters Singdha Reddy and Sruthi Reddy. She is looking to get the ticket for Singdha Reddy ticket from Gadwal and Sruthi Reddy, ticket for Mahbubnagar. Aruna, also started her political career in 1996, from Mahbubnagar constituency.
Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Damodar Reddy have been fighting neck and neck from a long time in Nagar kurnool. Janardhan Reddy is looking to bring his son into the picture but last elections did not help him secure the seat.
So, this time he is trying to stand in elections from the constituency himself, but for that he feels joining Congress party will help him. Damodar Reddy, already Congress MLC from the constituency doesn't want this to happen as that can hurt his son's progress in the area.
So, both are now in Delhi trying their own ways to get the high command's approval for their individual plans.
Jupally Krishna Rao, minister in Telangana Government, is trying to bring into picture his elder son, Arun from Nagar kurnool but as there is no increase in number of constituencies in the district, he is worried how to bring his heir into the picture.
TDP leaders Seethamma and Dayakar Reddy are also planning to bring their son, Siddharth Reddy into the picture but declining TDP image in the state has been a worrisome factor for them.
MP Jeetender Reddy is also planning to launch his son's political career from Mahbubnagar constituency but as TRS leader, CM KCR, has plans to shuffle the constituencies of sitting MLAs and MPs, he is waiting for the final approval from his boss to decide on his plans.
