Midnight Voting In Andhra Pradesh

Unusual scenes have been witnessed by people on the polling day in Andhra Pradesh. After hundreds of EVMs developed technical glitch & clashes took place in around 25 locations in the state, Election Commission permitted all the voters who joined the queue before 6 pm to exercise their right to vote. Polling continued till midnight in districts such as Guntur, Krishna, Kurnool and Nellore. Hats off to the voters for being so patient to stand in the long queues at such an odd timings.

As per info, About 76.69 percent polling was recorded in Andhra Pradesh in 2019 Election. Polling percentage in 2014 Elections is about 74.5.
