Another Big Fish to join TRS!

Former TPCC Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah is likely to join TRS any time soon. A contractor who have close relations with Ponnala and TDP Leadership turned into a mediator for making this deal work. Even Ponnala & TRS Topbrass Leaders attended the party given by the contractor at his farm house in Hyderabad.
Ponnala offered to join TRS three months ago if he was given a respectable position. TRS Leaders K Kesava Rao and D Srinivas held discussions with him couple of times.
While Ponnala demanded Rajya Sabha seat, TRS Leadership conveyed to him that offering such a crucial post soon after joining the party will draw criticism. KCR assured Ponnala that he would be made an MLC.
Ponnala's other demands include MLA ticket to his Daughter-in-Law from Warangal district if delimitation of Assembly constituencies happen by 2019 polls.
