We thought Lagadapati might attempt Suicide?

Former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar revealed what happened on the day Lagadapati Rajagopal used pepper spray in Lok Sabha to make sure Telangana bill wasn't passed.
In an interview to a TV Channel, Ponnam told: 'Lagadapati pledged to stop the passage of Telangana bill in Lok Sabha on Feb 14th, 2014 by any means. All the T-Congress MPs met to discuss how to handle Lagadapati in Parliament. We thought he might attempt suicide and decided to stop him whatever he might do. Andhra MPs raised slogan when Speaker began reading Telangana Bill and we countered them. Still, Tension prevailed as we don't know what Lagadapati would do. Suddenly, Lagadapati took the pepper spray in his hands to disrupt the proceedings. We noticed a bag full of pepper sprays beside him. Then, We jumped on Lagadapati to take him under control and there was chaos. I feared that I won't be able to see again and kept weeping out of severe pain. Only after undergoing treatment in the hospital, I was able to open my eyes'.
After Telangana Bill was passed in Parliament, Lagadapati decided to quit Politics completely but he earned a lot of respect for fighting till the last minute. We rarely come across such Leaders who keep their promises in Politics.
