Popular telugu writer booked for drunken driving

Popular tollywood dialogue writer Kona venkat who has contributed story and dialouges for many block buster movies was booked under drunk and drive case.Traffic police nabbed the writer at Banjara Hills on Saturday night. The traffic police, who were conducting a special drive against drunken driving, intercepted a Honda car around 11.10 pm and found its driver in a drunken state.
Kona appeared inebriated state, and police took the breathalyzer test which gave positive result.Police said Kona Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was found to be 40 mg per 100 ml where the permissible limit is 30 mg per ml.
Traffic police seized the vehicle of the writer and proceeded with their rules. He was asked to attend a counselling session at the Traffic Training Institute and appear in court after which the vehicle will be released.Kona tried many ways to escape from the case but no one has helped the director to escape from the act.
This is not first time Tollywood celebs were cornered when a case is filed for drunk and drive activity lasts time we saw hero Nikhil and Navdeep.Kona recently penned the dialogues for Balupu and Dookudu. After having clashes with director Srinu Vatila , Kona Venkat has started writing dialogues individually.Currently Kona Venkat is planning to make his debut as director and his close associates say he is keen to work with pawan kalyan
