Watching Porn leads to more Rapes: Study

Does excessive watching of Porn leads to more rapes and drive men to end up as violent criminals? A recent study by Mangalore-based Rescue Research & Training Charity Trust proved the same.
About 3,500 Students in 183 Colleges from 8 Districts of Karnataka took part in the Survey. All of the Students fall in the age group of 16 to 21. On the eve of World's Women Day, The results were announced in a college event at Mangalore.
83% of the Students agreed to have seeing Porn. Shockingly, About 76% of Respondents told they get motivation to rape after watching Porn. 74% of the Students even admitted to have approached Prostitutes. 30% of Teenage Girl have been watching Porn for 5 hours a week. Whereas, Boys watch porn for 7 hours a week. About 30% students confess they watch rape and gang-rape videos.
The NGO revealed there 13,000 rise in the count of Rapists every year. Steps have to be taken to ban at least violent porn to keep a check on crimes against women.
