Positive Cases Reached 1,06,750 In India

India witnessed the biggest surge of the positive cases so far as 5,611 positive cases were reported in the country in the past 24 taking the total toll of the positive cases to 1,06,750.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family welfare issued a health bulletin in this regard which states that the active cases of the fatal disease stood at 61,149 with 42,297 patients recovered from the virus so far.
Talking about the states with the most number of positive cases, Maharashtra tops the list with 37,136 followed by Tamil Nadu(12,448), Gujarat(12,140), and Delhi. On the other hand, 3,303 succumbed to the disease to date.
Maharashtra reported one-third of the total cases which is the highest for any state in the country. The positive cases in most of the states increased at once with the migrant workers permitted to go to their native places.
