Prabhudeva in race for Baadshah

Choreographer-turned-Director Prabhudeva is likely to direct the Hindi remake of Telugu hit 'Baadshah' starring Jr NTR in the lead.
Prabhudeva even had a word with producer Bandla Ganesh to keep the remake rights of the film on hold for him. The ace dance master is already in talks with a Bollywood star for the project and the official announcement will be out in the near future.
In fact, Bandla Ganesh has already sold out the Hindi dubbing rights of Baadshah for Rs 2.25 crore. He is waiting for his good friend Prabhudeva to take up the Hindi remake of his film, even though several other filmmakers are in the race. Ganesh might pocket anywhere between Rs 3.5 to 5 crore by selling the remake rights.
Sources say, Prabhudeva is keen on casting Akshay Kumar in the lead role for Baadshah. This combination worked workers at the Box Office earlier with the masala entertainer 'Rowdy Rathore' which is a Hindi remake of Telugu hit Vikramarkudu.
