X
It's been exactly one year for the historic and game-changing Praja Sankalpa Yatra of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The year-long yatra has changed the face of politics in Andhra Pradesh. It helped consign Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP to the dustbin of history and brought in a young YS Jagan to power.

The Yatra, which began on November 6,2017 at Idupulapaya had culminated in a huge roaring sea of humanity at Ichchapuram on January 8, 2018. The Yatra covered 3648 km, 134 assembly constituencies, 231 mandals, 54 municipalities, eight municipal corporations and 2516 villages. Over two crore people converged at various places in the state to see and hear YS Jagan. The Yatra has helped YS Jagan Mhan Reddy to understand the woes of the people and find out ways and means to ameliorate their lot. His flagship schemes like Ammavodi, welfare pensions and others emanated out of this historic yatra.

Riding on a massive wave of popularity, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30, 2019. The first thing he did after becoming the CM was to take steps to implement the promises he made to the people of the state as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He has raised he pension for the senior citizens to Rs 2250 and is implementing Nava Ratnalu. On January 9, the day when the Praja Sankalpa Yatra concluded, YS Jagan is all set to launch the ‘Amma Vodi' scheme.
