Director hates Political Parties after failing Thrice

However, His perception has changed after unsuccessfully contesting Lok Sabha polls thrice.
During his recent interview, Prakash Jha discloses he no longer wanted to associate with any political party. He is now of the view that political parties & politicians haven't been using their positions to bring a change in the lives of people.
Prakash Jha contested as an Independent and on behalf of LJP in 2004 and 2009 General Elections respectively. In 2014, Nitish Kumar's JD(U) fielded him as its candidate for Bettiah Lok Sabha segment in Bihar. Even though the filmmaker had contested the polls with good intention of serving the poor, Majority of the people in those constituencies have always backed his Opponents for reasons known best to them.
'Jai Gangaajal' happens to Prakash Jha's upcoming flick. Priyanka Chopra plays the lead and even the Director has played a crucial character in the cop drama.
