Surname Row: Prakash Raj clarifies!

Prakash Raj faced a bit of opposition from few Hindu Outfits when he arrived for inauguration of 10-days 'Karavali Utsav' at Lalbagh on December 22nd. Pointing out his statement 'In Kerala, One Can Breathe Free', Few Netizens questioned him why is he arriving for Mangalore.
Karnataka Civil Supplies Minister UT Khader responded seriously on this negative campaign. He questioned, 'Why shouldn't Prakash Raj who was born and brought up in Karnataka visit Mangalore? Stop him if you are capable of doing so. BJP Leaders must be blamed for the way their Supporters have been behaving. It's not right to say only certain clothes should be worn, only certain kind of stories must be published on newspapers and aired on TV'.
Giving least importance to the negative campaign, Prakash Raj took part in Karavali Utsav and claimed he hails from the Coastal Region. 'I had born here..My Mother is a native of Gadag District. It's unnecessary to care about the bad propaganda on social media. Humanity in an individual gets killed the moment he/she gets the thought of killing someone,' he told.
Taking potshots at Mysore MP Pratap Simha who made an issue over his surname, Prakash Raj commented: 'I was asked whether if I am Prakash Rai or Prakash Raj. While My Name is Prakash Rai, My Screen Name is Prakash Raj. A Person with common sense will understand it. Will you question Rajinikanth (Shivaji Rao Gaekwad), Vishnuvardhan (Sampah Kumar) and Rajkumar (Mutturaj) for their screen names?'.
