Prakash Raj's presence in KCR meet surprises all

One surprise factor in Telangana CM KCR's Mumbai visit is the presence of film star Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj, whose public appearances have become scarcer after he lost the MAA elections to Manchu Vishu, was there to receive the KCR. The Telangana CM introduced the MLAs and other party officials to Prakash Raj.
Not just that, Prakash Raj was present in the meeting that KCR held with his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray. While what transpired at the meeting is not known as of now. KCR wants to join hands with Uddhav Thackeray to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In fact, Prakash Raj is a prominent critic of the BJP and Narendra Modi. He has time and again attacked Modi on social media. He became a Modi-basher since the death of journalist-author Gauri Lankesh.
He has even contested elections from Bengaluru against the BJP and lost badly.
Recently, Prakash Raj became active in the politics of the Movie Artistes Association. He and his panel have contested against a panel headed by actor Manchu Vishnu.
Prakash Rao lost the battle. He has later threatened to resign from the MAA, but later relented. After his defeat, he has not been very active in public affair. His sudden presence during KCR's visit has now become a hot topic of discussion.
