Prakash Raj Supports Media, Not TFI!

Prakash Raj stunned Telugu Film Industry by extending support to media in the Casting Couch issue raised by Sri Reddy. 'When a Woman is speaking, First of all one should be ready to listen. Nobody have the right to say…Who are you to question? Can these people say Casting Couch doesn't exist? They say it's been there in every other Industry. Yes, That's true! When a woman is crying, Let's pay attention to what she is saying instead of character assassination'.

Responding on the Producer's Council decision to ban News Channels, The Acclaimed Actor said: 'Why do you focus on who is behind her instead of the facts? Isn't it true that sexual harassment exists in the Film Industry?'.

Prakash Raj questioned what has NDA Government done for the people since 2014 - 'With Demonetisation, PM promised Black Money will vanish if people bear slight discomfort for 50 days. People remained silent even after witnessing the dealings between Bankers and Black Money holders. Why don't Centre reveal details of Black Money it found out so far? Even Today, People are struggling to get their money from Banks and ATMs. Modi promised to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every bank account. Did this Government offer at least Rs 10,000? BJP Leaders are now buying votes using Black Money. What does that mean? What about the 2 crore jobs you promised? Small Businesses received a huge blow because of note ban and unemployment is on the rise. On whom did you levy GST? How fair is it to make people dependant on Handicrafts and Handlooms pay taxes? If we ask questions, They treat us as Anti-Hindu and Anti-Modi. Modi questions what has Congress, Nehru and Tipu Sultan done. We have elected this Government as previous rulers failed. What should we do if he too does the same thing?'.

In the Casting Couch issue, Prakash Raj spoke in a one-sided manner. It was people like Sri Reddy who indulged in character assassination of film personalities even after Film Industry came forward to form CASH Committee. With the support of media, An attempt has been made to project the entire Industry in poor light. It would have been nice had if he maintained a balance while responding on the sensitive issue.
