Pranab Mukherjee Double Strike: T-Bill & President Rule!

Putting an end to the days long suspense, President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday gave his assent to AP Reorganisation Bill and also given consent to impose President's Rule in Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana Bill was passed in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on February 18th and 20th respectively. With President's approval, All the hurdles for the creation of 29th Indian State has been cleared.
The Union Cabinet on Friday recommended President's Rule in AP. Based on it, Pranab signed the proclamation to impose President's Rule in the state. Hence, Andhra Pradesh Assembly whose term is slated to end on June 2nd will now be placed under suspended animation.
