Prashant Kishor Not To Join Congress For Now!!

Has poll wizard and election strategist Prashant Kishor deferred the decision to join the Congress Party. Amid raging opposition within the Congress ranks over his joining the party, it is being said that he has decided not join the Congress Party for now. Also, he is said to have decided to keep away from politics for some time.
Ever since PK has proved his mettle in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, there was a talk of his taking up a new responsibility. As part of it, it was being said that he would join the Congress Party and take up the responsibility of devising election strategies for the party for the 2024 elections. He had also held several rounds of meetings with leaders like KTR, Sharmila, Sharad Pawar, Rahul Gandhi and others as part of his efforts aimed at forging an alliance.
However, there was strong opposition to PK’s entry into the Congress. The G 23, comprising senior leaders like Shashi Tharoor, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kapil Sibal and others, has staunchly opposed his entry. The group, which has been demanding internal democracy in the party has said that there was no need to take him in. As a result, PK is said to have decided not to join the Congress party immediately. He would wait for the results of the five states which will go to the polls next year to come and then take a call.
PK's company IPAC has said that there is no possibility of PK joining the Congress immediately. It said that PK wants to take rest for some time after the West Bengal elections. The IPAC said that PK would take a call some time later.
