CM Chandrababu Naidu proposed World-class Capital for Andhra Pradesh. Crores have been spent for hiring Top Architects & touring various foreign countries for the sake of designs and development models. Unfortunately, Not even a single permanent building has been constructed in Amaravati so far. Even Chief Minister & his Cabinet Colleagues are unable to say when the capital will be completed.
In such a situation, Comments made by Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has led to a debate in political circles. He accused YCP and Jana Sena of conspiring to stop Amaravati even after farmers had voluntarily given thousands of acres. 'Comments of Pawan Kalyan has been making people feel insecure. The land prices grew multifold in the region just because of the capital. Centre is behind Pawan's Capital visits,' alleged the Minister.
Analysts ask how could anybody stop Amaravati when it doesn't exist in reality. What is there is the AP Capital other than few temporary buildings and roads?
