Prisoner Escapes with Rs 68,500 from Chanchalguda

A Chanchalguda Central Prison has run away with Rs 68,500 in the early hours of Wednesday.
Syed Sajid (26) was arrested in January 2012 on charges of Dowry Harassment and Abetment of Suicide. A local court has punished him with 3 years imprisonment and was sent to Cherlapalli Central Jail.
Because of his good conduct, Syed Sajid was shifted to Chanchalguda on August 8th this year and was assigned the duty at a petrol pump. When the shift ended at 2 am on Wednesday, All the other prisoners were depositing the cash collected with the prison officials and it was then Syed has escaped with the cash in his hand.
A case has been registered against Syed Sajid and two teams were on duty to nab him. Jail Warden has been suspended due to Syed's escape.
