Private schools in Telangana want govt to reverse decision on educational institutions!
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 March 2021 7:00 PM ISTIt is known that the KCR-led Telangana government announced a temporary closure of educational schools after the parents of the students requested the government to consider the health concerns of the students.
However, the government's decision did not go well with the private schools in the state. The schools are demanding the Telangana government to take back its decision on the closure of institutions.
As per the media reports, the representatives of the private schools have staged a protest outside Collectorate to oppose the government's move to close schools and colleges given the Covid fear.
They are asking why the government has shut the educational institutions alone barring the bars, restaurants, and theatres where people have proximity. Will Corona hits only schools and colleges, they asked.
Earlier, the Telangana government permitted the schools to operate after nearly seven months. The happiness of the educational institutions did not last too long with the government's decision.
With the schools and colleges getting directives to shut down till further notice, the government permitted the institutions to continue with the online classes so that the students will not miss the syllabus.
