Priyanca Radhakrishna, who was made the Minister for Diversity, Inclusion, and Ethnic Communities in New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's most diverse cabinet has created history. She is the first-ever Indian-origin Minister in Newzeland Parliament.

Now an old video of Priyanca Radhakrishnan where she addressed the Parliament in her mother tongue Malayalam. The viral video was during a Parliament session in 2017.

The Twitteratti were impressed with the Indian-origin opting to address the house when she was elected to the house in 2017 by The New Zealand Labour Party.

Successful people often say never forget where you came from and the roots you belong to. Priyanca Radhakrishnan, who made history by becoming the first-ever Indian-origin minister in Newzealand Parliament followed the quote.

The Minister has her roots from Ernakulam district in God's own country Kerala. She went to Singapore for her schooling. Later she moved to Ne Zealand for further studies.

She has been associated with the New Zealand Labour Party since 2006. She held so many designations at the party. She entered the house in 2017 for the first time. Priyanca even played an active role in the internal party policy development process.
