When Priyanka Gandhi can't pay her Rent?

BJP Government-led by Vajpayee sanctioned a sprawling bungalow spread across 2,765.18 square metro at 35, Lodhi Estate to Priyanka Gandhi due to security reasons for a monthly rent of Rs 53,421. On May 7th, 2002, Priyanka wrote a letter to Central Government saying the rent of Rs 53,421 is beyond her paying capacity and her stay there wasn't out of choice but due to security concerns. She also mentions most of the bungalow was occupied by SPG and offered to pay old rate of Rs 28,451 per month.
Taking the concerns expressed by Priyanka Gandhi into consideration, Vajpayee Government reduced the Special Licence Fee from Rs 53,421 to Rs 8,888 per month.
The market rent of the bungalow where Priyanka Gandhi lives is over Rs 80,000 per month. Some of the houses with 1/10th the size of Priyanka's bungalow in the same locality fetch rents anywhere between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 4 lakh per month.
