Marking the death anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi took to Twitter to pay tributes to her father who lost his life in a bomb blast planned by LTTE.
In a series of Tweets, the Congress leader paid tribute to his deceased father. She posted a picture of her with Rajiv Gandhi. She captioned the picture with her father as "Last photo with father"
“To be kind to those who are unkind to you to know that life is fair, no matter how unfair you imagine it to be to keep walking, no matter how dark the skies or fearsome the storm to nurture a strong heart, and fill it with love no matter how great it's sorrows these are the gifts of my father's life," Priyanka Gandhi's Tweet read.
Rajiv Gandhi became the Congress Party President in the year 1984 was assassinated in Tamil Nadu when a suicide bomber sent by the militant group the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) attacked him.
