Producer Registered Plagiarism Complaint on Director - Calls Copy Cat!

Producers of "Yaan" which was released in Tamil, this year, got into controversies in the recent times. This flick turned out to be a dud at the box office and the producers have now filed plagiarism complaint on the director Ravi K Chandran.
Producers mentioned that the scenes, dialogues and camera angles of this flick were related to Hollywood venture "Midnight Express". They further called this director as copy cat. It seems that this director stated that the story of "Yaan" is his own and he framed it long back.
Without much investigation, producers gave a nod to start the flick and it finally turned out to be a copy of the Hollywood venture. Now, they filed a complaint on this director and we have to see how far it goes. Ravi K Chandran is a top Cinematographer and has worked with several big shots in South India as well as in North India.
