Producers delay Shoot due to Drought

External factors like Rainfall or Drought will have an impact on the Film Making process. The severe drought in Maharashtra is forcing the Producers delay the shoot and postpone the release dates.
Usually, Marathi Films are mostly realistic subject and shooting will be done in small villages in state. Due to extreme shortage of water, Makers were unable to shoot as managing the cast & crew will be so difficult. Even the rising cost of production is a huge factor.
Barring Mumbai and Pune, Most of the Maharashtra cities and villages have been facing severe drought. People in places such as Vidarbha and Marathwada were mostly affected.
Some of the Film Personalities were raising funds to provide financial assistance to the families of farmers. Actor Nana Patekar and Akshay Kumar have already done their bit for the cause.
