By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Feb 2014 8:49 AM GMTIn 2014, Property Registrations across AP have declined drastically as Centre has send the indications of Telangana statehood. The situation hasn't improved even after the T-Bill was passed in both the houses of Parliament.
In Serlingampally sub-registrar office which covers Manikonda, Chandanagar and few other areas, 400 registrations have been done in December 2013. However, the count has fallen to 312 in January and 178 in February.
In Guntur, Property Registrations has fallen to 42% less than what it used to be in 2013. The drop is clear in other parts of Telangana and Seemandhra.
Officials say, The down fall will continue till the new capital of residuary state of AP gets finalised. Several investors are waiting for reinvesting the money in new capital for better profits.
