He had stirred a controversy by using harsh words on media. He threatened to bury the media ten feet under the earth if they continue to insult the telangana state.
The comments of KCR hurts the sentiments of Journalists and they are demanding an open apology from KCR.Journalists Association of Chennai organised a agitation at Chennai Press club and it supported by journalists belong to Telugu , Tamil and Malayalam media houses.
Chennai Press Club Joint Secretary Bharathi Thamizhan condemned KCR remarks against the media.He said that freedom of the press should not be affected and condemns the ban on media channels in telangana region.
Its known that Telangana MSOÂ’S had taken the TV9 and ABN channels off the air in June after the Assembly passed a unanimous resolution demanding action against them for running a programme that had offended the elected representatives
