Public Anger Towards Raj Gopal Reddy Gives Tension To BJP?

In a few weeks from now, we are going to see another intense by-election in Telangana. The Munugode by-poll which fell vacant after Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy resigned as MLA and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party is slated for the by-election next month. Following this, the major parties kept themselves busy campaigning.

Former MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, who is BJP's candidate for the upcoming poll faced a big blow as the people expressed their anger at him. Not just that, they also raised down down slogans reportedly.

Despite reaching Choutuppal with security, the former MLA faced the wrath of the public. Raj Gopal Reddy pinned high hopes that his campaign would help him win the polls. But the public anger poured water on his hopes.

The ruling TRS has been accusing Raj Gopal Reddy of wrongdoings and also said that he joined BJP to get big contracts. Congress took a few steps ahead and shared a video that was created to say money was transferred from Amit Shah's account to Raj Gopal Reddy's account.

Now the people in Choutuppal raised the same questions and reportedly asked him what has he done for the development of the region when he was MLA. This sheds light on the image he has among voters.

The public image plays a big role in elections. In the Huzurabad by-poll, Etela Rajender won the election as the voters supported him, which seems not the case in Munugode.

But the voters in Choutupall reportedly lashed out at the former MLA and asked how he can ask for votes after getting sold out for money. If the same trend continues, then the chances of Raj Gopal Reddy winning the polls would be very less.

On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party is giving its best. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Munugode and addressed a massive crowd. It is believed that big leaders from the northern regions would come to the poll-bound Munugode for the campaign. If the candidate has some positive image the campaign would increase the winning chances. If there is no such image the northern leaders cannot do anything.
