Punjagutta PS Named Second Best In India

Punjagutta Police Station which is located adjacent to the Central Mall in Hyderabad is being ranked Second Best in the country in the joint survey conducted by Quality Council of India and Ministry of Home Affairs.
Union Home Ministry has come up with a Top 10 Police Stations list based on the quality of policing and citizen-friendly atmosphere. RS Puram Police Station (B-2) in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore topped the chart. The rankings were announced at the All India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police 2017.
The recognition from Union Ministry makes the Hyderabad City Police proud. This can't be achieved without collective effort, good coordination, sincerity and skill.
Whereas, Few Social Media Posts have surfaced saying there was no swift action on the complaints registered at this particular Police Station.
