Purandeswari Is Now Air India Director

Former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari was appointed as Air India Board Independent Director by the Central Government. Orders were issued by the Cabinet Committee in this regard the other day.
Purandeswari is likely to serve as Non Official Independent Director for a period of 3 years. She thanked Centre for showing so much faith in her upon knowing about her appointment.
Post bifurcation, Purandeswari ditched Congress and joined BJP. She was appointed as BJP National Mahila Morcha Chief few years ago. Purandeswari remained loyal to the BJP Leadership even when Special Category Status was denied to AP and bifurcation promises were neglected. And now, She received a respectable post for abiding by the party orders in the past four-and-a-half years.
