In Tamil Nadu, Amma is Jayalalitha and Chinnamma is Shashikala. This analogy is Nation wide and Worldwide famous.
Telugu people too have Chinnamma and she is none other than Anna NTR's daughter, Purandhareshwari. She got elected as MP two times in a row due to her name as NTR's daughter.
She used that name really well and she even served as Minister of State in UPA-2 Government. She then shifted to BJP, just before elections in 2014, but people saw her as Congress MP, who couldn't stop the state bifurcation.
Now, Chinnamma is trying to fight for BJP Party rather than for people, who made her MP twice. While many MPs are trying to say that Andhra Pradesh needs Special Category Status and YSRCP is fighting against BJP, she is confined to supporting her party.
She still did not understand the problem that people expect their representatives fight for them but not for parties. Hope, she uses her strong voice for people rather than convincing them for her party.
