Putta Not Ready To Quit As TTD Chairman

After K Raghavendra Rao resigned to the post of TTD's Bhakti Channel Chairman, Speculations began doing rounds that existing TTD Board Members will tender their resignations due to the change of government in AP. Even the TTD Board Member Challa Babu resigned soon after the defeat of TDP in the recent elections.
After the recent Board Meeting, TTD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav made it clear that TTD Board Members were appointed by State Government not the Political Party. He, however, maintained: 'We are ready to resign if the new government abolishes the existing board'.
Generally, Individuals who got benefitted from the political appointments made by the previous government tender their resignations after the formation of new government. Contrary to that tradition, Majority of the existing TTD Board Members seems to be keen to continue in their posts till the end of term.
Board Members of various famous temples in AP have been resigning since the May 24th, 2019. Newly elected government will be making fresh appointments very soon.
