Khammam MLA jumps into TRS

Congress legislator Puvvada Ajay Kumar announced his decision to defect to the ruling TRS. He would take the membership of Telangana Rashtra Samiti on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. This development should be seen as a major blow to Congress ahead of Paleru by-election.
TRS, on the other hand, feels Puvvada's entry just before days before TRS plenary in Khammam on April 27th is a good sign. It only indicates the overwhelming support of people in the district.
Puvvada Ajay Kumar emerged victorious in 2014 General Elections contesting on Congress ticket from Khammam Assembly Constituency. With his defection to the ruling party within just 2 years, Its yet again proven that Khammam has been the strong hold of TRS party.
