PV Sindhu had to settle with Silver Medal at Rio Olympics 2016 after being defeated by Spaniard Carolina Marin in the Final. The Indian Shuttler had her revenge at last!
In the India Open Super Series final, PV Sindhu has beaten Carolina Marin in consecutive sets (21-19, 21-16) played at Siri Fort Sports Complex. She dominated right from start and didn't allow the game to slip out of her hand at any point. This victory only proved that Sindhu's Olympic triumph wasn't a fluke and she is only getting better day-by-day.
In the Quarter Final, Sindhu overpowered even Saina Nehwal in straight sets. Saina is the former World No.1 Badminton Player. It was Pullela Gopichand who made them Champion Players with his World-class Coaching.
