PVN Madhav To be Andhra BJP President?

Is the BJP looking for young and dynamic leaders to lead its state units? After appointing Bandi Sanjay, a firebrand, ideologically-rooted and young Hindutwist as Telangana unit president ignoring the claims of the older leaders, the party leadership is now planning to appoint young and affable PVN Madhav as the party president for the AP unit. PVN Madhav is an MLC.
But, herein lies the problem. While there are no doubts about Sanjay's stand, there are some issues with PVN Madhav. Sanjay is unlike some of the earlier presidents who were decidedly pro-TRS and hobnobbed with it. He will take a tough stand against the TRS government. But, PVN Madhav is known to be soft on the TDP. In fact, he has been elected an MLC with the TDP support. Time and again, he has made comments that are favourable to the TDP. As recently as a few days ago, he has opposed the appointment of BJP leader Sanchayita Gajapathiraju as the Mansas Trust board chief. He had mouthed the same argument that the TDP advanced. So, there are questions whether would take a tough stand against the TDP. Let's see how things pan out.
PVN Madhav's father PV Chalapathi Rao too has been a BJP leader and has worked hard to build the party in the coastal areas. He is a Jan Sanghi and had courted arrest during the Emergency.
